Welcome to the Social Enterprise Reporter! With your contributions of news, opinions and commentary, this site will become a community building and networking tool for North American social enterprise practitioners, funders, consultants, academics and those interested in knowing more about the realities of social entrepreneurship. This site incorporates the SEblog and is a work in progress, building on the 3+ years of the print publication of SER from 2004-2007.
My goal is to encourage an informal and public dialogue that will help to share and advance the thinking and practice of social enterprise. Those of you who may not want to contribute, or have time to read the longer articles in SER, will hopefully use the SEblog as a place for finding and contributing frequently updated shorter (no more than 700 words per article) articles and commentary.
